Membership and Fees

Annual Membership

Annual joining membership for Discovery Triathlon club for the Year 2016 – 2017 will be £20.00 per athlete.

Annual membership is renewable from the 1st of October for the coming year.

Members coaching session costs.

In addition to the annual membership fee there is a further coaching session fee which will be a monthly fee, collected from the individual athlete by direct payment to Discovery Tri by standing order or monthly BACS transfer.

Discovery triathlon banking details will be provided on application.

The monthly costs for the coaching sessions are as follows : –

£10 per month per athlete
£8 per month for a second Sibling
Third sibling – no charge but will be required to have annual membership.

We advise that the monthly coaching session fees shall be paid to Discovery triathlon on the 1st of each month for payment for the coming month. a courtesy email / notification to the membership secretary ( Ash Nicholson – email ashandhel@btinternet.com) that the standing order is in place would be much appreciated.

Non – Members coaching session costs.

All Non – members will be required to pay a fee of £4.50 per each session attended. The session fee will be required to be paid to the coach in charge prior to the start of the each session.

Further Notes

The weekly session costs do not include external training sessions such Open water sessions in the summer months for which an additional session fee will be advised at the time.

Discovery Triathlon are committed to providing weekly coaching sessions throughout the year, however these sessions are subject to disruption outside our control – Access to venue facilities / coach illness / availability etc – No refund for Cancelled sessions will be provided unless under extenuating circumstances at which point the club committee will advise accordingly.

Discovery Triathlon club is a non- profit making club,all of our coaching staff along, with the club committee, are all voluntary. All the proceeds from membership and coaching sessions is used for affiliation to the associated sporting organisations, the securing training facilities and associated coaching equipment.
